šWeeks of Wins!
Week 40-41; Finished the Cat Cafe Manager Kickstarter; Finished WerkPlant Podcast; New Stuff for Mighty Merch
What Have I Been Up To?
šø Made it to the Kickstarter Finish Line
The biggest highlight of the past couple of weeks has definitely been the successful conclusion of the Cat Cafe Manager 2 Kickstarter campaign. After a full month of dedicated work with Rick, Carmen, Sonya, Ernst, EsmeĆ©, Irene, and Claire, we far surpassed our initial goal of ā¬40,000 and ended up with a little over ā¬85,000! Did you miss out? No worries, itās not too late to still back the project through late pledges on our Kickstarter page!
After almost a year of preparation, this Kickstarter campaign was our first test to see how well we could tackle self-publishing, manage our own marketing, and handle community engagement. We didnāt just succeed in raising funds; we also reached a large audience, which I'm really happy about! Most importantly, though, is how well the team worked together. I'm excited to turn these results into a solid production plan for this all-star crew in the upcoming weeks!

šļø Hello, WerkPlant Podcast
With the Cat Cafe Manager 2 Kickstarter out of the way, I finally got some headspace to also work on other things that needed a little attention.
First and foremost: the WerkPlant Podcast is done! With the copy ready and the platforms (including Spotify!) prepared, all thatās left for us to do is wait for our guests to have one final listen before we release the first three episodes. You should be able to access The WerkPlant Podcast later this week, so stay tuned!
Furthermore, I finally found some time to work on a new version of the Tilly game for the ChangeGamers. Together with programmers Ernst, Levi, and the rest of the team, we are ramping up development speed to deliver an improved version of the app, featuring an enhanced tutorial, better-paced progress, and more scientifically integrated help and information. We should be done before the end of the month!

š¾Ā New Game, New Merch!
And finally, my work for Mighty Merch finally got some love again. Over the past couple of weeks, I managed to successfully merge the European and North American stores for the Game Bakers, and I picked up some customer service work that really needed to get done.
Even more exciting is the fact that weāre in the process of getting a new client on board for Mighty Merch, which prompted some interesting conversations on shirt designs, collection management, and pin production. Iām almost starting to feel like an actual store manager!
What's Next?
In the next couple of weeks, my main focus will be on laying down production plans for Cat Cafe Manager 2, now that we have a bit more certainty on the project through Kickstarter. Additionally, The WerkPlant Podcast ā and everything that has to do with it ā will demand more of my attention than Iāve been used to up until now. Want to stay up to date on all that and more? Iāll keep you blog posted!
